Serving Roman Camp Oil Works

Roman Camp No. 2 (South) Mine, and the associated with No. 2 (North) Mine, followed the outcrop of shales on the eastern arm of the Pumpherston anticline. The seams here were particularly steeply inclined creating many difficulties in their working.
