Annual Inspection and Presentation of Prizes
The annual inspection of the above company of the Boys' Brigade took place on Thursday evening in the Recreation Ground before a large and appreciative gathering of parents and friends. The boys, under the command of their captain, the Rev. J. N. Balfour, presented a very smart appearance indeed.

BOOKMAKER FINED
A fine of £5 was imposed at Linlithgow Sheriff Court last Friday on Stephenson Reid Quate (37), 57 Abercorn Place, Winchburgh, who pleaded guilty by letter to having, on the 7th of January, loitered at the junction of Main Street and Station Road for the purpose of bookmaking.
