DEATHS
HEADRIDGE - At Burnside, Threemiletown, on 30th April, 1956, James Headridge, aged 82 years, husband of the late Janet Reid.

OBITUARY
At the age of 82 the death took place on Monday of Mr James Headridge, Burnside. A native of Ratho, Mr Headridge had resided at Burnside for 56 years. in his youth he was employed with the North British Railway Company and actually on the second day at work he was at the opening of the Forth Bridge. He was employed with the Oakbank Oil Company for a short period but later was a platelayer foreman with Scottish Oils, retiring 12 years ago. He was a great reader and gardener and was very fond of walking. Mr Headridge, who was predeceased by his wife many years ago, is survived by a grown-up family.
