GOLDEN WEDDING

Mr and Mrs Alexander Falconer celebrated their golden wedding at 92 Midhope Place, Wincburgh, on Saturday. They were married at Broughshane Parish Church, County Antrim, by the Rev. Thomas Dowser. They migrated to Oakbank, where they have stayed for 17 years, and have been in Winchburgh for the last 33 years. Mr Falconer worked with the Oakbank Oil Company all his life and retired seven years ago at the age of 65. Both are very well known and respected by all who know them, and they have been recipients of many congratulatory telegrams and presents from their friends. Mr Falconer took a keen interest in the Oakbank Workmen's insitute, where he served on the committee for some years.
