Minute of Agreement between the Most Honourable Victor Alexander John Marquis of Linlithgow, Proprietor of the Farm of Glendevon, First Party, John Cadzow, Agricultural Tenant thereof, Second Party, and Messers Young's Paraffin Light & Mineral Oil Company Limited, tenants of the Minerals under inter alia said Farm, Third Parties dated 1917 and signed between 23rd May 1917 and 12th June 1917. Some additional later correspondence is loosely attached to the main minute. Typed documents with some handwritten notes. Includes a plan from the Mining Department, Hopetoun Works, Winchburgh dated 11th May 1917 which states "This is the plan or tracing of the farm of Glendevon referred to in agreement (signed in triplicate) between the Most Honourable Victor Alexander John Marquis of Linlithgow. Proprietor of the said farm, first party John Cadzow Agricultural Tenant Secod Party, and Messrs Young's Paraffing Light and Mineral Oil Company Limited Tenants of the minerals under inter alia said farm third parties dated 23rd, 30th May and 12th June 1917. The scale of the Plan is 1/2" =one chain(20.1 metres).
