Description

album of 11 photographs of various views of the Dedridge to Oakbank aerial haulage ropeway, circa 1912. The ropeway carried shale from Newfarm No 3 & 4 mine to Oakbank Oil Works, commencing in 1908 and stopping 1919 003 aerial ropeway bridge over the A71 near Glebe Farm which protected traffic from any falling material. Copy of LVSAV1998.046.
