One of a series of lantern slides / glass plate negatives, thought to be used by Scottish Oils Ltd for instructional lectures. Plan referenced in Oil Shales of the Lothians, 3rd Edition, Geological Survey of Scotland, 1927, p243 as "the earliest plan now available" Donor was former employee of BP Oil (Grangemouth) Refinery Ltd.
